20 Free Romantic and Vintage Graphics

Hello everyone! I have a wonderful digital graphic resource to share with you all today called Graphic Stock. It's an awesome HUGE DATABASE of digital graphics! You can find seamless wallpaper backgrounds, textures, beautiful graphics, stock images, and more, all royalty free- basically a designer's dream!

I'm sharing some of my personal favorites in today's post. To download the ones in this collection, you will have to sign up for a 7 Day Totally Free Trial, where you can download up to 20 images a day. If you don't want to be enrolled in the paid "unlimited download" membership, simply cancel before your seven day trial is up.

To start your seven day free trial, go HERE

The above graphics can be located and downloaded by following the corresponding numbers on the image, with the ones in the list of links below:

1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8

Again, if you do not want to use it past the free trial, PLEASE cancel your subscription so you won't have to pay for the membership.

ALSO, Graphic Stock is so awesome, that they want to give one of you a free 6 Month Membership. All you have to do is sign up using either the very top 3 links, or this one HERE.

Most of the images on Graphic Stock come in a rastorized format, which means the they don't come in separate layers. So I am going to show you how to transform them into transparent digital graphics for your digital designing, using BOTH Photoshop & Pixlr. Pixlr is a free Photoshop alternative, and offers almost all of the same editing tools. The below steps are performed in Pixlr, but you can do the same steps, with the same tools in Photoshop.

After downloading your images from Graphic Stock in PNG or JPG format, open your image up in Pixlr.com

If there are multiple graphics on the image, you need to isolate the graphic you want to use. Using the Lasso Tool, draw around your selection. Press Ctr C to copy it.

To create a new document, go to FILE->New IMAGE. Press Ctrl V to paste it into your new document.

To get rid of the white in your image, use the magic wand tool with "CONTIGUOUS" unchecked and give it a Tolerance of 1. Having Contiguous unchecked will ensure that all the white in the whole layer is selected, and having the Tolerance be so low will effect how "picky" the selection is when it comes to pixels with the exact same properties.

Now you can use the graphic however you want, pasting it on top of backgrounds, or making a card template, designing your website, branding and more!  While these graphics are royalty free, please make sure to conform to their terms of use, found HERE.

A Confession + "Love" and "Sparkle" Watercolor Free Printables

I'm really not sure if I want to write this, but I think I should.

Can I share something really personal with you all? I'm not going to lie, I've been super busy and I feel very overwhelmed. I have been working on SO many new projects for my home... all at the same time.... and they are taking forever for me to complete, photograph and edit. So yeah, I'm very overwhelmed. But they are going to be AMAZING, so please hold onto your socks (where did that phrase come from anyways?)

Honestly, I feel like a lousy blogger sometimes... maybe it's because I feel so much pressure to produce content, and it's a struggle for me to push out 2-3 post a week. But as one girl blogging team (with no editor or personal assistant), a stay at home mommy and wife, I have so much on my plate. But I want to be perfect. I'm so scared of not having everything together, and I hate showing anything on here that isn't perfect, isn't completely done, or looks like it's flawless and out of a magazine.. Do any of you feel that way about your life?

I want to be transparent with you all. It blows my mind that SO MANY people actually visit my site... and yet, I am sometimes so scared to do simple things like post a facebook update, or send out an email newsletter, because it might be an inconvenience to someone. And even though thousands of people have subscribed to my social media, I can't help but feel that they don't really want to see my content, I mean, I'm just little Hannah Hathaway.

DIY Instagram Display

Why hello everyone! I've taken forever to share all the "REAL DIY" projects I've been working on in my new home...  starting with my Blogging station reveal... but I am a perfectionist, and there are a few finishing touches I want to add before the final reveal.  But today I have a major sneak peak project for you all. I hope the pictures don't give the whole space away. Haha!

Anyhow, I am majorly obsessed with INSTAGRAM, and I really wanted to display personal candid moments near my work space, so an instagram collage fit the bill quite nicely.

"Timelessly Trendy" Free Watercolor Printables

I am always kind of scared that the things I love (like the chokers I wanted to wear when I was 13) will go out of style... whether it be clothing (okay, especially clothing), music style, or decorating, I don't want to cringe at my life choices 10 years down the road... June  will probably look at pictures of me someday and say, "You wore THAT?!" just as I used to laugh at my dad's huge aviators, or my moms shoulder pads... but hey, the aviators are coming back!

Free 2014 Printable Calendar

Wow, I am posting really late in the day today... can I blame it on the fact that I dropped a sewing machine on my foot last night and I couldn't fall asleep because I was in so much pain? Haha. True story. Want some more funny mental images? My husband had to carry me up the stairs like a bag of potatoes, possibly because he wanted to show off his super hot muscles (haha), or possibly because I was pretty much sobbing like a baby in pain... You can probably guess which one. The poor guy had to wake up 4:30 AM  for work... but I was still awake at 3 AM, trying to ignore the pain, and mad at myself for doing something so stupid. Who drops sewing machines on their feet? Stupid. So I was trying to sleep at 3 AM, and was dreaming about advil. See, I had just thrown away my stash, because I noticed it had expired... last year. So I woke my husband up at 3 AM to dig through the trash to get it for me. And like a good husband, he dumped out the trash to look for it. Only, I told him it was in the bag outside... but it was actually in the one that was still in the house. I have such a wonderful husband ya'll, because he found it anyways! Needless to say, I was able to fall asleep because of that wonderful, expired advil, and my sleep deprived husband. Haha! Okay, you can stop laughing at my past 24 hours now!
