This is the perfect way to preserve all the abundance of vegetables you get from your garden. I hate having vegetables go bad & this is a great solution!
Berries, Broccoli, Carrots, Cauliflower, Mushrooms, Zucchini, Peppers, Etc. This works awesome for meatballs & cookie dough too!
Some vegetables will not handle the freezing process very well (esp. ones with a very high water content e.g. tomatoes.) so they may be good for cooking (pizza anyone?) but don’t expect them to be just as good as just off the vine.
- Wash vegetables
- Dice them to desired size.
- Spread out on a cookie sheet and place in freezer for about 15 minutes.
- Break up and ziploc
- Enjoy whenever needed
This is a great thing to have done in advance- just grab and go!
